Program allows customers to return eligible reels for a rebate while supporting our green initiatives and reducing waste.
This program is about more than just rebates — it’s about responsible reuse and sustainability in the elevator industry.
Eligible Reel Types
We accept the following reel constructions:
Plywood flange with cardboard or wood drum
Nailed wood flange with wood slat drum
⚠️ Not all reels are usable for elevator wire rope and cable.
Only return reels your company originally received from RCW Canada and that meet the specifications outlined below.

Return Guidelines
To qualify for a rebate, returned reels must meet the following requirements:
Condition Requirements
Reels must be in “good as new” condition
Free from:
Chips
Breaks
Nail protrusions
Grease
Suitable for spooling brand new rope or cable
Hardware Requirements
Disassembled reels must include all hardware
Threaded rods
Nuts
Washers
Size Limits
Do not return reels larger than the dimensions listed above.
